This was an interesting week. We had a little bit of a scare on Friday. I had some bleeding and because I am Rh- the doctor immediately sent me to the hospital for a level 2 ultra sound. Turned out everything was ok. It was actually really cool because I got to see the baby for like 45 mins. (because they were looking so long to make sure everything was ok) The baby was asleep at the beginning and then woke up and stretched. It was so cute!! Then he started sucking his thumb. (I will be referring to the baby as him because I don't like using "it) It was soooo cool to see him moving around! I am so glad to be almost done with the 1st Trimester!!!!

Those pictures are awesome! But, just so you know, I'm going to refer to the baby as "she" because I'm hoping we can continue another generation of girlfriends this time around... =o) Thanks for the update! I've been watching and waiting patiently to see an update on your blog since you promised to be better about updating now that you're far, far away. Looking forward to more updates on the baby, the new ministry, and general everyday life in New Mexico... =o)

It's so fun to see your little one on the ultrasound. I'm sure you were worried, but I'm glad everything is good. I understand all that, being a high risk pregnant person...the best part was the many ultra sounds we got to have throughout my pregnancy. Are you going to find out what you are having?
